strong language

Keep each authority with its number. DEJUS 16 is not the German 18, and neither number replaces the warning about strong language, intense violence, blood and gore. The compare control starts with DEJUS on the left and Germany on the right. Change either side to the content warning when you want that sentence in the column.

DEJUS 16 covers illicit drugs, extreme violence, and improper language. The board's own line is Drogas ilícitas; Violência Extrema; Linguagem imprópria. The German 18 covers drastic violence, drugs, and sexual suggestions. Its own line is Drastische Gewalt; Drogen; Sexuelle Andeutungen.

Use the table when you want all three at once, and the compare columns when you want two side by side. The content warning has no numeric age. It is marked content note so it is not mistaken for a board score.

The content warning is strong language, intense violence, blood and gore. Read it before you wishlist if those subjects decide the purchase for your household.

DEJUS 16 and the German 18 can both be true for the same game. They come from different authorities. Do not average them into one age. Pick the authority that applies to you, then read its detail line rather than the number alone.

The published ratings are DEJUS 16, a German 18, and the content warning. If your region uses a different board, that board has not been announced.
