The Oath

Press play on the letterboxed frame above. The frame stays a poster until you choose it, then the video loads. The title to keep is Squadron 42 | Official Wishlist Trailer | The Oath, not a shortened nickname.

The Oath is the same film on the official site and on YouTube. The launch window beside it is Q2 2027. The trailer does not turn that window into a calendar day, and it does not add a price.

Wishlist on Steam if you want the Q2 2027 window saved. Squadron 42 is coming soon and is not free to play. The price has not been announced yet.

Still 03 has no scene title. Do not treat a filename or a shot number as a scene name. Stills 08 through 15 are numbered the same way, and they are untitled too.

The enlistment around the trailer asks you to join the UEE Navy, fight the Vanduul, pilot combat ships, fight on foot, and explore capital ships, space stations, and frontier outposts. Those are the places on the front line.

If you leave the trailer to check a PC, the minimum is Windows 11, a quad-core Intel i7 Sandy Bridge or AMD Bulldozer class CPU, 16 GB of RAM, a DirectX 11.1 graphics card with 8 GB of VRAM, DirectX 12, broadband, and 150 GB. The recommended line only adds that a 64-bit processor and operating system are required.

• Still 03 has no scene title
• The launch window remains Q2 2027
• English is the only language with full audio
• The game contains strong language, intense violence, blood and gore
